Privacy policy

Tint World Burlington ("we") runs this website. This page explains what we collect when you visit or ask for a quote, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• What you send us. Your name, phone number, email address, vehicle, the services you're interested in, and anything you write in the message box.
• How you found us. The page you arrived on, the website that sent you, and advertising campaign codes in the link (for example utm_campaign or a Meta click ID).
• Device data. Your IP address, browser type, and cookies or similar identifiers set by this site and by Meta.

How we use it

• To reply to your request, prepare a quote, and book your appointment.
• To understand which of our ads lead to enquiries and sales, so we can spend our advertising budget well.
• To keep the quote form free of spam.

We don't sell your information.

Advertising and measurement

This site uses the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API. When you view a page, tap to call, or send the quote form, details about that action are shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. Contact details you type into the form are converted into irreversible codes (hashed) on our server before they're shared, so Meta can match the action to a Facebook or Instagram account without receiving the details themselves. If you later become a customer, we may tell Meta that the enquiry turned into a sale, in the same coded form.

You can control ads based on your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run the site and our business:

• Cloudflare hosts this website and checks forms for spam.
• Pipedrive stores enquiries in our customer database.
• Zapier sends us notifications about new enquiries.
• Meta measures our advertising, as described above.

These providers may store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union, where it may be accessible to local authorities under those countries' laws.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and warranty obligations, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to us using it, by emailing store4008@tintworld.com or calling (905) 234-0822. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
